1-я книга Паралипоменон

Глава 13

1 И советовался Давид с тысяченачальниками, сотниками и со всеми начальствующими.

2 И сказал Давид всему собранию Израильтян: если вам угодно, и на то будет воля Господа, Бога нашего, разошлем к прочим братьям нашим, по всем землям Израильским, и вместе с тем к священникам и левитам в города и окрестности их, чтоб они собрались к нам.

3 И перенесем к себе ковчег Бога нашего, потому что мы не помышляли об нем во дни Саула.

4 И сказало все собрание: сделать так, потому что дело сие казалось справедливым для очей всего народа.

5 И собрал Давид всех Израильтян, от реки Египетской даже до входа в Емаф, для перенесения ковчега Божия из Кириафиарима.

6 И пошел Давид и весь Израиль к Баале в Кириафиарим, что в Иудее, с тем, чтобы перенести оттуда ковчег Бога Господа, восседящего на херувимах, на котором нарицается Его имя.

7 И повезли ковчег Божий на новой колеснице из дома Авинадавова; а Оза и Ахио сопровождали колесницу.

8 Давид же и все Израильтяне изъявляли свою радость пред лицом Божиим изо всей силы, песнями, звуком гуслей, псалтирей, тимпанов, кимвалов и труб.

9 Когда пришли к гумну Хидону. Оза простер руку свою, чтобы поддержать ковчег, потому что тельцы стали рваться.

10 И воспламенился Господь гневом на Озу, и поразил его за то, что он простер руку свою к ковчегу; и умер он тут же пред лицом Божиим.

11 И скорбел Давид о том, что Господь поразил Озу. Посему и называется то место Перец-Узза до сего дня.

12 И боялся Давид Бога в тот день, и сказал: как я внесу к себе ковчег Божий?

13 И не повез Давид ковчега к себе в город Давидов, а велел отвести его в дом Овед-Едома Гевянина.

14 И пробыл ковчег Божий у семейства Овед-Едомова в доме его три месяца, и благословил Господь дом Овед-Едома, и все, что у него было.

Chapter 13

1 AND David consulted with the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and with all the leaders and governors of Israel.

2 And David said to all the assemblies of Israel, If it seems good to you, let us beseech the LORD our God to repair the breaches of our brethren who reside in all towns of Israel, and settle with them priests and Levites in their cities and suburbs;

3 So that they may gather themselves and come to us, and pray before the LORD our God and beseech him because of our sins; for we did not pray before him in the days of Saul.

4 And all the assemblies said that they would do so.

5 So David gathered all Israel together, from the river of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of the LORD from Koriath-narin.

6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Koriath-narin, which belongs to the tribe of Judah, to bring up from there the ark of the LORD God who dwells upon the high cherubim, which are known by his name.

7 And they placed the ark of the LORD in a new cart, and carried it out of the house of Abinadab; and Uzza and his brothers drove the cart.

8 And David and all Israel played before the LORD with all their might, and with singing and with harps and with psalteries and with cymbals and with timbrels.

9 And when they came to the threshing floor of Remin. Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen ran toward the threshing floor.

10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him there because he put forth his hand to the ark; and he died there before the ark.

11 And David was displeased because the LORD had smote Uzza; wherefore that place is called Torethadi-Uzza to this day.

12 And David was afraid of the LORD that day, saying. How can I bring the ark of God home to me?

13 So David was unwilling to bring the ark home to the city of David. And David commanded it be carried to the house of Ober-edom the Gittite.

14 And the ark of the LORD remained in the house of Ober-edom the Gittite three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Ober-edom the Gittite and all that he had.

1 И советовался Давид с тысяченачальниками, сотниками и со всеми начальствующими.

1 AND David consulted with the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and with all the leaders and governors of Israel.

2 И сказал Давид всему собранию Израильтян: если вам угодно, и на то будет воля Господа, Бога нашего, разошлем к прочим братьям нашим, по всем землям Израильским, и вместе с тем к священникам и левитам в города и окрестности их, чтоб они собрались к нам.

3 И перенесем к себе ковчег Бога нашего, потому что мы не помышляли об нем во дни Саула.

4 И сказало все собрание: сделать так, потому что дело сие казалось справедливым для очей всего народа.

4 And all the assemblies said that they would do so.

5 И собрал Давид всех Израильтян, от реки Египетской даже до входа в Емаф, для перенесения ковчега Божия из Кириафиарима.

5 So David gathered all Israel together, from the river of Egypt even to the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of the LORD from Koriath-narin.

6 И пошел Давид и весь Израиль к Баале в Кириафиарим, что в Иудее, с тем, чтобы перенести оттуда ковчег Бога Господа, восседящего на херувимах, на котором нарицается Его имя.

6 And David went up, and all Israel, to Koriath-narin, which belongs to the tribe of Judah, to bring up from there the ark of the LORD God who dwells upon the high cherubim, which are known by his name.

7 И повезли ковчег Божий на новой колеснице из дома Авинадавова; а Оза и Ахио сопровождали колесницу.

7 And they placed the ark of the LORD in a new cart, and carried it out of the house of Abinadab; and Uzza and his brothers drove the cart.

8 Давид же и все Израильтяне изъявляли свою радость пред лицом Божиим изо всей силы, песнями, звуком гуслей, псалтирей, тимпанов, кимвалов и труб.

8 And David and all Israel played before the LORD with all their might, and with singing and with harps and with psalteries and with cymbals and with timbrels.

11 И скорбел Давид о том, что Господь поразил Озу. Посему и называется то место Перец-Узза до сего дня.

11 And David was displeased because the LORD had smote Uzza; wherefore that place is called Torethadi-Uzza to this day.

12 И боялся Давид Бога в тот день, и сказал: как я внесу к себе ковчег Божий?

12 And David was afraid of the LORD that day, saying. How can I bring the ark of God home to me?

13 И не повез Давид ковчега к себе в город Давидов, а велел отвести его в дом Овед-Едома Гевянина.

13 So David was unwilling to bring the ark home to the city of David. And David commanded it be carried to the house of Ober-edom the Gittite.

14 И пробыл ковчег Божий у семейства Овед-Едомова в доме его три месяца, и благословил Господь дом Овед-Едома, и все, что у него было.

14 And the ark of the LORD remained in the house of Ober-edom the Gittite three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Ober-edom the Gittite and all that he had.
